Job Summary

You would be working as a Virtual Social Media Assistant. We're looking for someone who can be responsible for the execution of content for use on a number of social media platforms generating awareness for the client's business.

What we expect(This is a 100% remote opportunity that requires working in the U.S. timezone) 
The Assistant's role is one that doesn’t neatly fit within the confines of the “9 - 6 day”, so we’re looking for a go-getter who’s eager to be flexible and available, even outside traditional working hours. They will serve as an essential partner to the client. This highly organized, endlessly resourceful person will ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.

Job requirements

Required Experience: - Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Social Media Assistant

You must be well-versed with:

Basic Graphic Design
  • Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
  • Determining the size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
Research & Data Entry
  • Researching keywords, producing interesting written content and proofreading research on social media trends and working on strengthening the company's social media presence.
Basic Project Management
  • Track and organize project and campaign schedules and report on progress and statuses
  • Coordinate social media posts and delivery
  • Manage content strategy calendar
  • Schedules posts regularly on all the company's social media platforms
  • Help with administration of client activities, such as assigning tasks in Hubspot or other administrative tasks
Content Curation
  • Edit, publish and share daily content.
  • Proofread, edit/paraphrase captions and posts

Tools you must be familiar with: - (Knowledge of at least one tool in each category is mandatory)

  • Basic Graphic Design
    • Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Canva, Gravit Designer, Adobe InDesign, Pixlr, Figma, Sketch, Crello, PhotoScape, Vectr, Krita.
  • Basic Project Management
    • Trello, Basecamp, Asana, Clickup, Google Calendar.
  • Content Curation
    • Grammarly, Copyscape, The Hemingway App, CoSchedule Headline Analyser, Read-able, Google Docs


  • Proficiency in many social media platforms

  • Excellent Research Skills

  • Can Create Content for Social Media Posts using Canva or other related photo editing tool

  • Preferably fun, witty and loves to create creative content!⁣

  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.⁣

  • Can work under pressure, flexible, and detail-oriented.

  • Tech-savvy, creative, critical thinker, problem solver, can “think out of the box”

  • Excellent in English Communication skills both written and verbal

  • Must be organized, hardworking and reliable.

  • Amenable to Graveyard Shift

  • Proactive attitude

Technical Requirements:

  • USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature

  • Working Webcam

  • Main and backup computer specifications must be at least a 1.8 GHz processor with a 4GB RAM

  • Main Internet service speed must be at least 25 Mbps wired connection
    • Backup Internet Service Speed must have at least 10 Mbps
